The suspension action on prerunners has always amazed me. The axles movin around like crazy, but the cab stays pretty smooth. Makes me think about a new R/C project... too bad money is too tight. |

The bodywork could have been done better (I've seen the same body style Ford done in regular style bulged fenders that look VERY nice), but the important thing is that it works amazingly. I've always kinda dreamed of having a 67-72 done up as a desert rig.

nice. i've always wanted a pre-runner. it's just a shame there's not many places to run them in the northeast/mid-atlantic area of the country....

The truck is REALLY well built... It has it's own website at: F-2000.com Also, the truck has a twin turbo big-block pushing over 1000 hp, 28" front travel and 36(?) rear. I have seen the truck in person, and it is probably the nicest f-100 I have ever seen. But some parts are overkill on it, like the motor. There is no need for the truck to have that much HP, and the travel numbers are kind of a bit much, considering the majority of the Trophy trucks out there don't even have that much travel up front. But although I say I would do things different with it, I would love to have that thing sitting in my garage right about now instead of my ranger... |
