I really liked the Optima Mid XL! It was my first entry into the 4x4 buggy class.

Oh man that brings back some memories!I had a Hotshot back in the day that I built into a monster.It had full ball bearings,the Tamiya upgraded suspension,one shock per corner,Technigold motor and an aluminum wing made by you-gi?It was killer fast but the old mechanical sc just sucked.I used to disconnect the middle driveshaft and pull wheelies on the pavement!

who cares the hotshot has to be the biggest most complicated peice or rc junk i own
every time i find it in my pile of old rcs im like why do i still have this thing
it lives next to the ta037 or what ever the hell that belt driven thing is lol
whats next the juggernaught lol

gota love tamiya though in any form
