i have the rear drive shafts and gears to do and i will be finished

all i need is 2 tires and a rim and i will have it because i have elecronics and motor all mounted and it looks sweet
then i will have to get a better body because the 1 i have now is pretty ****y...

Yea thats much easier than making a custom motor plate for the back!!!!!!!!

where all you have to do is transfer tranny mount holes from the old to the new and make the new adjustable screw holes for the diff motor.

Very possible and very easy to do. Just have to make a motor mount and a way to secure the batteries. The reciever and servo are mounted using stock chassis holes and the motor mount uses the stock engine mount screw slots. I only drilled one hole in the chassis and it was for the battery side plates.

Because there are some motors only available for conversion packages?

Do they come to your house and take them back if you use them in a standard electric transmission?

im saying like, what size rod (part that comes out of the motor) do you usually use on an electric, a 1mm one, most nitro converions use 5mm ones.

I dont know exactly what to say, I have put airplane brushless motors in my customers 1/18 scale trucks. I guess I have to call them back and put in car ones instead!?!?!?

That's because you would strip out the transmission gears before the buggy went anywhere. I originally laid out my GT with a 9xl and 12 cells, but was quickly informed the transmission would desintigrate without major upgrades.
