Default CUTTING HELP!!!!

i need some help how should i cut plexi glass and lexan sheets about 1/4 inch what should i use??? also what should i use when cutting sheet metal???? thanx alot

jig saws are nice because their cheap like $20 and will cut just about anything. Just get a cheap one at menards mine was a $15 Tool Shop saw.

Just make sure you get a really fine toothed blade or else you will have rough cuts.

and dont forget to put maskin tape on both sides of the area to be cut. It will help reduce the chance of cracking.

Yeah, whats a few hundred bucks?! Definetely the best tool for the job though.

Jigsaws are awesome, just use the right blade, go slow, etc.

And like nktrnl (I always read that as NT Kernel...) said, use masking/painters tape, it'll make it cleaner and stop cracking.

I use a jig saw to cut almost every thing metal.
