Cool project. You could always just go fenderless for that hiboy look. i also think you should leave the flat black paint because nothin says fast like flat black!

I also have an 80 chevette with a Buick grand national 3.8 L , th350 , 8" ford rear that fits very tight. so I may run that for a year and pull the drivetrain for the 32 . my dad says sell the 32 but Id kick myself for sure. when I get my own garage I'll start on the pontiac. since its a 4-door I think I'll go fenders.

Have been known to have a few around the house. Be a man and cut it up. No Fenders, chopped top, shaved handles, the works.

if its the last option between me getting a house mabey. Gotta have the fenders. Im going for the ol-skool gangster look. unchopped , black wheels, flat black paint, big ol whitewalls.(just got a set of 5 for 85$ , only 1500 miles on em') like the fronts.

alot has gone on since this thread has started. got a house with a big garage (4 cars fit with walking room) and found some rear fenders for the '32 (there 36 chev truck fenders and fit perfect) . Now Im looking doing some mild work to the 32. I was looking at the fromt I-beam axle and wondering what (newer) brakes would fit on the stock spindles ? ( if possible) I logged on to Ol'SkoolRods.com but it wont let me post. if anyone has any info or links that would be great.
