Default need some guidance

well i need some guidance as the title suggested. i have a tlt but am rapidly getting bored of it in stock form. but before you say well mod it then. no money. would like to buy a different chassis and a pede tranny but cant afford it. so im considering selling and buying a xc/cc truck. or trading for one. but i cant decide what i really want to do . either keep the tlt and wait cuz it will be worth it. or trade/sell and have something now but not be as almighty.

when you vote please post up a reason for me to consider.

TIA
fuzz

i say keep it and trade/sell some stuff you dont need to pay for it.

you could sell a cat box with kitty litter on ebay for $50

I say keep it. If you are itching for some improvements in stock form, move up to some 2.2" tires like some proline dirt hawgs. They aren't too tall, but improve the performance tons.

I don't know how come you can't mod it, if you have the cash to sell it and buy an XC since those cost more anyhow.

There was a bulu for sale with tranny and links for $135 not too long ago. I'd say comb the F/S forum/ebay until something pops up. Maybe you can find a stampede roller for cheap and swap in the electronics in to that until you have the money to mod the TLT, that way you will have the tranny, shocks, and tons of hardware to build up your tlt-crawler but a fun/different truck until then. You'd also have a set of 2.2" tires for the TLT down the road.

Thats my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

fuzzhead,
you don't need a ton of money to mod the TLT. buying a pair of HPI dogbones and making your own suspension links will yield great results for next to nothing.

I say hold on to it too. It's worth modding the TLT IMO.
