| E-revo conversion
I had an e-maxx I converted to brushless sometime last year. I decided I really prefer an E-Revo for its suspension, so I yanked the insides (single speed tranny, Feigao 8xl and Schultze esc) and put them in my 2.5 revo. I haven't secured down anything, or made a battery bracket yet, but I wanted to see if it works. Thus I give you a short video. Not too bad I think. Right click, save as! http://cloak.ws/rc/e-revo/erevo_test1.mpg I think I'm going to chase this truck down the road on its lid as well. Last edited by Cloak; 06-03-2007 at 08:23 PM. |

Pretty cool! thats the same as I was planning, but I sold the revo roller to Jason to fund another project.

The worst thing about it is the e-maxx kind of sucked because it pulled wheelies at any speed. It is really hard to even get the truck up to full speed to get a proper speed run test. Usually I ran out of space first. I'm guessing this E-Revo will be more of the same. I'm willing to put time into dialing this one in though. Probably a wing and/or wheelie bar in the near future. |
