Andysbodys 06-07-2007 02:54 PM

At one time I had about 40 mint in the box hot shot, super shot, and hot shot two bodies. I sold all of them for $70- $90 each, they went to the UK, Japan, Australia. I wish I had kept one, now I can get a whole new kit for $180. Sweet.

Then you can put about $200 worth of mods on it, and sell it on eBay for $850!!!

Is this the proper technique for wiping?

No, that's the proper technique for Japanese Air Sex...

Now can somebody tell me what the big friggin' deal is about the Hotshot??? It doesn't seem like anything special to me. Is it strictly nostalgia? It doesn't seem like it has anything really unique.

Thorsteenster 06-07-2007 04:28 PM

i dont know, i was never that taken by the hotshot. BUT, it is a higher priced re-release wich may build up hopes of even higher priced re-releases, hint hint.

EeePee 06-07-2007 04:34 PM

It's even funnier when it goes along to some music.

Yeah.

STANG KILLA SS 06-07-2007 07:32 PM

i wish tamiya would quit re-releasing all these lame cars, brat, and all those ugly buggies. make something everyones actually petetioned for, hilux/bruiser/mountainer.

Bronco 06-07-2007 08:01 PM

ya, i agree

The Muscle 06-07-2007 08:58 PM

why not just get a b4.

but the bruiser and hilux rere would be sweet.

renoirbud 06-07-2007 09:15 PM

The hot shot was never really all that hot. The suspension was hard to tune and the bump steering was not correctable.

I imagine with a modern powerplant, the Hot shot would be nearly undrivable at speed. Back when I had a Techni Gold in mine (I think 17 T), it was already way more then that chassis could handle.

Tamiya should stop re-releasing old stuff. I know it would be nice for everyone to have a Bruiser, but they do not perform so hot either.

The F-350 was a great release, and I am sure that we will get a Super TLT or a TLT-10 soon.

I thought it was an instructional image for the use of a bidet.

Thorsteenster 06-08-2007 03:36 PM

with a bidet like that, who'd ever leave the bathroom?

Harley 06-08-2007 11:31 PM
