Default This must be the reason for a failsafe

So a few days ago I picked up a new pede to beat on and today I tossed it in the truck for a spin around the parking lot at work. About 20 seconds into the pede's second run ever it lost the radio and took off full speed, you know what happens next

In short the only things I can re-use are the suspension arms, steering linkage (servo saver broke), and the body mount

Well...

Since you can't use the transmission, I'll take it off your hands.

Yea you can. Just like the nitro's. Plug it in right before the esc goes into the reciver. Works the same. Or you could just buy spektrum. Built in failsafe.

I've gotta bunch of pede part's I'll let go cheap. PM me in your interested.

Your coiled up reciever antenna might have something to do with it taking off.

I work at a hobby shop, and we always have someone come in after they bought their car and the antenna is still coiled up. They usually say something like "I couldn't get it through the tube" or "I thought it was supposed to be like that".

LoL , I did the same thing when I got my pede 7 years ago, I was so excited christmas morning when I got my charger I forgot to put up the antenna. It went full throttle across a parking lot, hit a curb and did a front flip into a snow bank.

That is why I made sure the coiled wire is visible in that pic. We stupid crawlers forget from time to time to check things like that

That is halarious!

Yeah a crawler isn't hard to catch if it runs away, and range is usually not a problem either!!!
