Me and the wife were playing the sports games last night and she was kicking my *** at baseball . I also got the wii play that comes with an extra remote, there is a game where you ride a cow to run over scarecrows. Not sure if it was the alcohol but we bolth found riding the cows hilarious I also picked up the Rapala's fishing game, haven't tried that one yet.

Just bringing this back to the top for a question............................for the 25+ married crowd. Worth it? I have stayed away from the gaming consoles since I bought my N64 (one of the very first to get one), and since then just never thought a newer gaming console interested me. The wife and I still break out the N64 for some Mario Cart and SouthPark, and still have a blast with them. I now have two co-workers with Wii's, and both LOVE them. I am thinking it is time to catch up to the 21st century with a new console..................should I get a Wii? Not sure how available they are at the stores (I will start to look after posting this), but I can get one in a box off craigslist all day long for $300. |

Wife and I just got a Wii about 2 weeks ago, and we love it. It is the first consol system that actually gives her an advantage over me since se is alway tilting the remotes one way or another. She actually plays it more then I do now. The sports games rock. She is 25 and I am 30. It is a great way to play a video game and really interact together in my mind.

My grandma has picked up the Wii and played it, I have seen all ages play it. It is a fun console and in the market place you can buy mariocart 64. Then if you want a dark shooter game you can go get Resident Evil 4 or the upcoming controversial Man Hunt 2. You can go on the internet thru the Wii browser, but all in all for $250 you can have a console that is fun for weeks with out buying a new game( It comes with Wii Sports). My opinion is BUY IT! I am not 25, but hopefully this helps. |

I have both, but the Wii gets played the most becuase of parties and friends. We pull that out and start playing WarioWare and you cant stop. Now when nobodies around I turn on the 360 and play forza, and Madden 08'(which is awesome by the way). It mostly depends on your personality to find the suitable console. I still recommend the Wii. |

Well, after 3 Targets, 2 Wal-Marts, 3 Circuit Citys, 2 Best Buys, and a Kmart with no luck at all.................one popped up on Craigslist NIB (with receipt) today for $285. I figure if I did find one in the store, it would run $268 with tax, so $285 isn't crazy for something that seems impossible to find in the stores locally. I hope to pick it up in about an hour..........................woohoo!! |

I never thought I would like the Wii, but after playing it with the kids up the street from me, that was the most fun game console I have played yet. Very fun.
