Default Suzuki Ozark 250

my Local dealer has a Brand New 2006 Suzuki Ozark 250 for 3,009 OTD...

And ive been really wanting a new quad and this seems like a good deal to me... Any tips from people that have it??? or anybody in general??

Please dont suggest big expensive atv's because i am 15 1/2 and cant afford to buy much... this will be my first quad.

thanks....

Both atvs that I have owned have been suzukis. In my opinion they are well built and hard to break. The only problen I had on the first(1988 300 2wd) was that the clutch started slipping after 7 years. I elected to sell it instead of fixing it and bought the second one(1995 250 4wd) which I never had to do anything to and the man I sold it to last year is a friend of the family and still has it for his grandkids with no problems. After a while though the 250 will make you want a bigger bike then you should get the KinkQuad as a replacement!

Yeah it should be a good starter quad and later just sell it and upgrade! The secret is to keep the oil and other fluids changed regularly and to clean it after a day of bashing!

Truth. We recently(about 2 years ago) bought a Honda 400ex and a Honda 450r, haven't had any problems with them. New quads seem to be pretty reliable as long as you do the upkeep on them. I've had the first service done on both of them at the shop and personally changed the oil and cleaned the air filters on both of them. As long as you keep up with the maitenance on your quad you should be good to go ..

Suzuki makes a good quad, the Ozark is a good choice for a first quad. I own a Vinson, I love it, as the guys above have said, just maintain it and it will last you a long time.

I purchased a new one back in 04 when they first came out.
It was my first utility quad ever owned, always had sport quads.
I liked it and rode it far faster and harder than it was designed for, and never had any problems out of it. It is a great starter quad, you can't go wrong with that quad.
I even took it to little sahara state park to the dunes a couple times.
Nothing like running wide open in fifth gear(about 40 mph in the sand) and going up the face of a 80 foot tall dune and downshifting through all the gears to make it to the top and still not making it!

I've owned alot of quads, three wheelers, dirtbikes, and pit bikes. Hondas are definatly the best made product in my opinion.
