| Hasbro Jeep Scaler
Has anyone used this body on a scaler? Saw one at the pawn shop today and was thinking about picking it up.....from the looks and size of it 2.2s would fit perfect.... http://cgi.ebay.com/Limited-Edition-...QQcmdZViewItem |

the pawn shop wanted 60 bucks but it was mint, and came with a few hats, a 45, an axe, shovel, 4 men, a jerry can, and a spare......it even has gauges and the shifters for the tranny and t-case

i picked one up a few years ago at target for 20 bucks, although it was formitive intl, not hasbro. i also have a 21st century one i bought for a 100, but the difference in price is in the quality.

If it's 10th scale or close I could see real possibilities for that style and vintage Jeep.

having owned a few tlts, Im almost positive it would be perfect with a 12 or 12.5" WB, and the width is almost right on...its a little wide.....I may pick it up next week and throw some WK axles and an r2 under it for fun.....and the tires are very near the size of a set of narrowed mashers

here's a mock up of mine from a couple of years ago. originally i was going to use a wild dagger since it was easy to stretch but since finding this site, it will have txt axles and a boyer frame. |

The scale is good. I'm watching a couple on ebay. The 21st century ones have more scale for sure. Higher cost as well. |

the 21st ones are nice though, i bought one to do more of a scaler, and now with the WK axles out, i think they'll fit the bill.

So you thinging WK axels are the best fit? I have a set of TLT axels extra I was going to use. I'd also like to see simple roll bar/ windshield / with a spare tire mount. Maybe a little exo bar work as well. |

tlt axles i think you'll need spacers to get the best looking fit. also i'm thinking Wk axles for the overall scale appearance over the tlt axle.
