daytona? kinda looks like it. great pics. i went to daytona 2 years ago for the Turkey run. lots of cars. walked around for 3 hrs and never saw everything.only 6 hr trip.lol |

I have to say that is the best track out there. I was able to see the Indy 500 about ten years ago best time ever. Looks like you had a great spot and a great time I'm jealous. If you come across a helmet just sittin around could you grab it for me .

I started off at the media center - right next to the pagoda. Stayed there for about 10 laps then went to the exit of turn 3. I had pit and garage access but figured the best shots would be in turn 3...luckily I was right. When Johnson's car caught fire he stopped right in front of me so I got some good shots. If you watch coverage of it, I'm just inside the fence behind the guard rail. Shot of Tony's car heading for pre-race tech inspection. |

Awesome pics!! I had to work yesterday so I taped the race...just watched it, I'll have to watch Jimmy's wreck again and look for you. I'm really jealous. Someday i'll get to a Nascar race.
