mig is the easiest but not sure if its good for building tubers and stuff..get a welder that runs of gas i think its 1/2 oxygen 1/2 something....as far as spending money thats how big ur wallet is....u can get a decent mig welder for 250-350..

Isnt this a question you should be asking yourself?

BTW, what do you mean by "easiest kind of welding"?

I learned on a stick welder then moved to mig. Mig welding can be done by a 4 year old.

I will be straight up with you, If you are looking to build small stuff for rc then you just need to get a torch and some silver solder. I am certified in many different welding procedures and have access to fcaw, gmaw, tig, and sub arc and I still use silver solder and a torch to do 95% of my rc welding. Thats were I would start, its easy to learn and extreamly strong.

Shielding gas is usually Carbon Dioxide or Argon, or a mixture of the two. I would definitely NOT hook up an Oxygen tank to a MIG welder :!:

Oxygen can be used in brazing, though.

I use brazing with safety silv for my 1/8 solid rod... you could use mig then braze to strengthen the bond. I dont have a whole lot of practical use with brake line.

Mig welding is by and far the most widely used and most flexable welding type.

i can stick weld. never learned to mig or tig. i mig welded once but it was just a little practice weld. i want a tig welder because of the detail you can do. heliarc is super high detail but i think it might b hard to do. i have never seen it done.
