I passed one when I was about the same age. I forget the year, but I remember the pain. I threw up from it at the hospital. I apologized to the doctor who was working with me and he just said, "No need to apologize. I've had them, too." The worst part of the pain is that it doesn't really go away. It like someone squeezing your nuts for 12 hours. |

Before anyone starts, yes, it was your mom holding my nuts.

Yes I have had five since I was 19. I am 31 now and I have had surgery on two of the five. The pain is horrible! The most recent one I had was about five months ago right after I had just moved to Miami. I was on medication to help prevent them but ended up getting another one so I stopped taking it. One doc told me it was b/c my body doesn't get rid of protein like it is supposed to and it sits and collects Ca molecules until it builds up a stone. I expect to have them the rest of my life.

Yes I have heard that. I have had the procedure twice. This last doc made me suck it up for two months. I was loaded on Pain Meds the whole time but still drinking alot and taking other meds to help flush them out. He wouldn't even xray me more than once. | |

I've had them back in 98. For those that can't imagine the pain, it's like pissing a golf ball. Funny thing is, after having the stones and healing, my wife got pregnant! |

Save those stones and we'll use them in a comp or gtg.

the best thing i found is just take some pain pilss and tell everyone to go away and take a nap. when u are asleep u dont feel them as bad. i will be 30 at the end of the month and had about 10 since i was 19 or 20. the first one felt like some one took a knife about 6in and slamed it in my back. try and cach one if u can in a panit straner put it in a bag and have the uraligist test it to see what the are made of, so u can change ur diet. |
