That looks great! What wheels are you running? I like the looks of them.

mississippirocs 08-06-2007 08:31 PM

It looks good! I like the sliders too. Did you make them also?

dotson 08-06-2007 08:37 PM

wow that look real"thumbsup"

I suppose it's ok for your mall crawler. :flipoff:
Other than the lights it's looking sweet

Thanks :)

I needed protection from those pesky rolling shopping carts!

Here is a picture of the lower bracket before I built the bumper. It is a two piece design, both pieces are 1/4" steel. The red plate was welded to the cross member as it was to rusty to hold up to much abuse. Then the black plate is bolted onto it. The parts were cut on a CNC plasma cutter.

that bumper really looks good, i would take off the orange lights and put em elsewhere. but who cares thats a cool bumper. what are those tires specifically i havent seen the center lugs so close together like that. how do you like them? any bad road noise?

Shaun 08-06-2007 10:30 PM

Thats really nice, you did a good job. I actually like the lights.

You should show a pic of your truck last summer or even when you got it.

Etype R 08-07-2007 06:40 AM

Thanks again guys :)

Here are a couple pics after I first got the truck 2 years ago.... It has changed slightly since then.

Now get that SAS done, nice build up so far.

Etype R 08-07-2007 09:20 AM

Don't tempt me anymore then I have tempted my self already!! Actually I would spend the money on a dual transfer case setup before doing a sas. I am finding that my gearing is limiting me more then the IFS is.

Gimbal 08-07-2007 11:22 AM

Sweet rig! "thumbsup"

Grizzly4x4 08-07-2007 11:45 AM

Did you already buy a Grand Cherokee? I owned one for a while, not real fond of the newer ones. My dad has one and they offroad worse than my Liberty. (Saying that, I'm pretty happy how the Libby does.) :)
