I thought mower blades created suction to pull the grass upright when it's cut.

That means the mower would be pulled down if at all.

There is a town in northern Wisconsin that had lawnmower races once and they were pretty awesome. The highest class had lawnmowers that did like 60 mph

My dad just got out of lawnmower racing, I did race in the jr. sport class but I am to old now and I would have race in the adult class. We dorked in the garage with an old yard blower and that motor was screaming.

We had the super modified class here and yes the mowers can go 60, one of our county's team claims they have a mower that broke 85 mph. Just crazy.
