I'd say it's not so much the truck you choose, as it is the tires you choose. Obviously, you'd want something that can get some traction in the mud (swamp dogs, maybe even paddles). You'd also want to make sure everything is waterproofed. Chris |

wheely king 4x4 is good, get some swamp dog tires and your good to go, the electronics are mounted up high, so you wont get them as dirty/wet while playing.

My WK got the smallest drop of water on the ESC and stopped working. Dried it out and it works fine so I coated the curcuit board in epoxy. Its water proof now. Then, Evil Ed dunked his in the river real quick and same thing... only his blew the fuse. Put a new fuse in it and now that blew. It looks like they applied the smallest amount or sealant that they could possably use but sometimes they don't cover the critical components. 50/50 chance its going to smoke goin in the water. Because of that I don't trust factory waterproofing from anyone other then castle creations. Back to thread topic, I second what people have said. Truck matters not. Tire Selection, and WheelSpeed! Don't try mudding open diff. | |

| They were lucky.. I took my 4x4 wk out and it flipped and was upside down for about 3 seconds in the water and ruined my ESC. I now have it in one of the cases that one of my other ESCs came in and sealed it with clear RTV.
