Anyone into RC Motorcycles?

I had a HOR in Korea, finally sold it. Cool but brittle. All the hard plastic body parts get destroyed when you run it.

I had the FM1-E as well.

Fun bike but you really need to have an open area to get used to driving it. You initiate a turn with steering and control how tight the turn is with throttle. Let off the throttle for a tighter turn, apply more throttle for a wider turn.

Thunder Tiger makes it as well, it is the same bike just nitro *cough* ghey *cough*

Thats where I would love to end up, I have just heard how hard they are to control at first so i figure I should start slow.

Seems like the HOR's have been around forever, but I hear the same things you have said.

I've got a couple of kyosho bikes that I really enjoy. I even put my hacker b20 short can in one. The tranny didnt hold up long but doing burnouts while rolling was worth it. They make a lot of aftermarket parts for them. I think with the aluminum gears and tranny case it would hold up fine. I would like to try the direct steering mod and see how they drove then.

I have a Ricky Carmichael dirt bike that I would like to deck out. I have seen some cool stuff available for them as well.

I own an old Graupner FZR 400. With it being a 1/5 scale, the normal 1/10 touring circuits are a bit too tight, so I would rather go for the H.O.R. Just a shame the Kyosho agents here think there is no market for it and won't import them.:-(

My wife got me one of those Radio Shack specials for my birthday a few years back. That thing was sweet! :-P Until 10 minutes later I broke the forks off!
