Wheelchairs site is somewhat wrong, says my motor is 130hp, and it is indeed 177hp/224lb/tq

the 2.8 is a good motor all you need to do is spend a little bit of money and you can have a pretty good motor.my dad went down and had some stuff done to the one in our old cherokee it was a 85 i think.and he dezined the cam.in the end it had 240hp at the rear wheels give or take a few hp

The only mention I see is about the 4 cylinder @130HP in 90'

It would be pretty hard to dog a fuel injected 242ci 4.0 out to only pull 130HP.

I have not found an error yet. But then again I don't own a XJ from every year.

Could you please quote the mistake? I would like to send him an e-mail and update it if it is incorrect.

I have owned XJ's for over 10 years, I have never found anything close to the detail of the site I posted as far as the changes and stats on XJ's

It says the 4 cylinders in 1991 were up'd to 130 hp...that's the only reference to 130 hp I can find.

O I didnt see the 4 cyl part. Then thats probably about right! 8)
