I had a friend that was a painter on the Golden Gate bridge. He would hang off the sides doing all kinds weird stuff. He sent me some pics years ago that were like that. I would freeze up. Unsecured heights freak me out.

If I have a safety rope I would ride a unicycle up there, I am a sucker for false security.

It is crazy in person, well looking up, I have rode my bike and walked over Mackinac Bridge. Not to mention driving over it. When you look up it goes forever and when you look down it goes forever.

I'm not afraid of heights, just a VERY healthy respect for them.My 8 year old daughter went on a ride this weekend in Idaho that takes you up 14 stories (140 feet) slowly, then releases you for a freefall until the brakes come on.

panic plunge

I don't think I'd mind the freefall but,the slow climb up might get me.Luckily,my oldest brother volunteered to go on it with her.Call me chicken if you want,I don't care.

When it comes to rides like that, it is always the buildup that gets me and that second of equilibrium between falling and being held.

The fall is a great rush.

Like I said,it's that SLOW climb that would get me.After that,no problem. It's the same thing with coasters.Get it going fast and I'm fine.

I rode these towers, both ways at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH.
http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/par...ower/index.cfm
The 3oo' C L -------- I -------- M B SUCKED BALLS!!!

but the view over Lake Erie was Phenominal!
Very, very

Then if $#%^&@* drops your azz...

However, the one that shoots you up 280 + feet is worse!!!
Right at the top when you start getting weightless;
It literally feels like you flew off the freagin top!!!
That ^&$%#@* suuuuuuuuCKED! (I screamed in fear )

But I'm still here, & I Loved the ride...

There is NO way I would work more than 20' above the ground.
Even then, I would still be shaky...
