Just wait until you get your A123's. Then it'll be on steriods and crack.

Am I missing something? See (and hear) a brushless spinning up under no load with 14+ volts. |

This is the HOSS Scorpion 3032-8 on 14.4v. The Hyperion 3025 could NEVER produce the sound this thing does!! I believe it is because of the number, and thickness of the laminations and the sheer size of the motor. The scream actually pierces your ears! I guess some of you will have to hear the noise in person to appreciate it! When a load is present, It gets REALLY loud! My camera mic does no justice. If you are within a 50 foot radius, you will know whats up! |

| Maybe you have heard motors like this before JIA... I know you are into planes too and have probably powered outrunners to much higher voltages. But I was blown away the first time I unleashed the old S3032-8 without the bearing with 14.4v in the super. This new motor seems to be even more powerful then the first version, letting an ear piercing scream out I can't even describe. I tried to fire the batteries up in the WK today after being full charged for the test last night, and they were completely DEAD. Two 1500mah packs drained in 5 mins of testing no load. I may have to rethink the power supply.... |
