Drive around. Keep an eye out EVERY time you leave the house. Being in east TN.; I personally don't have to look too hard but not everyone is so smart er' um' I mean lucky, to live here... :-P |

There is a "harbor" about 5 miles from me and when i was little i rember going out on the pier and fishing off of it. I rember there being big rocks and such on either side of the side walk but i'm not shure if i want to play that close to the water.

Research old hydro dams that they use no more. The spillway for the dam is a good spot sometimes.

go to http://local.live.com then type in your adress and look round local. you'll find somewhere eventually. i found a old quarry the other day just a bike ride away from me with LOADS of rocks big and small. it's just about putting the time in.

Most of my knowledge of where to go rc crawling comes from my 1:1 crawling. Not that the rocks that I crawl on with the Jeep are small enough to use the rc rig on, but on the way to these trails and along the sides you find spots. In Arizona...rocks are plentiful. I've driven 50 miles before to just go rc crawling...by myself even, and I continue to go there still. |

I have rocks either way I go. Why not just get you someone to haul you in some big rocks and put them in your mommys front yard. I did that one time did not go over well. Had to scoop the up with the tractor and they are now gone.
