Default Indoor Crawling

Does anyone run indoors? I had seen a indoor setup in one of the mags at a hobby expo. Does anyone run indoors? My indoor onroad club has 9000sqft, not to spare but we have room that could possibly accomidate an indoor crawling area sort of like indoor Trials bikes use.

If anyone has pictures or links to clubs that are crawling indoors please post here.

Any feedback on indoor crawling comps woudl be appreciated.... Fall is around the corner and then winter soo.......... indoors will be the only option soon

I moved your thread to chit chat. I think you might have better luck there. Check with 1Badjeepbruiser here at RCC I'm pretty sure he has some trials course pictures.
You could also search RCX 2007 in the general crawlers section for pic's of the RCP man made course.

Try this http://www.rcptracks.com/

Those guys built the RCX track and the one that RCP and HPI used at the nascar race. Here is that thread.

I built an indoor course for chassis/suspension tuning. I used 2x4 and plywood to make the frame and shape then covered it in chicken wire then fiberglass with fiber mat over that. Another RCC member built one using a drop cloth coated in resin instead of fiber mat. I used bedliner for top coating but think that was a mistake, it came out too slick, maybe if I had added sand it would have been better.

Our winter crawling is done at Fastlane hobby, south east of KC. They set up a nice indoor course for us to compete on. There should be some pics floating around somewhere. Dez, Zorlac, Freq E Tag???

Well I made this from a old orange juice jug, styrofoam sheet, caulk, paint, 1/4 plywood and 5 cans of spray foam. Works great as a light weight basement crawl spot.
