Captin America gets a ground and pound ref stoppage over Gonzagas halfway through the 3rd round. He broke gonzagas nose in the 1st with a take down, cotoure took a direct head kick in the 3rd and smiled and took gonzaga down and pounded him out. Last edited by Kamikaze; 08-25-2007 at 10:33 PM. |

It looked to me that Gonzaga hasnt really ever had to take any real punishment before, and was really hurtin after his nose was broken/torn open. I hoped it was going to be a closer fight, but Couture did exactly what he needed to do, tie up Gonzaga on the fence and make him play Couture's game. In the St.Pierre/Koscheck fight, the outcome was predictible after i saw how serious St.Pierre looked. He dominated that fight, even out wrestled Koscheck, which im sure most people wouldnt have thought would happen.
