Apparently it cant smell how bad the tires smell.

Lol! Yeah, my cat has a foam fettish so she's usually hanging close to me when I crack open a new kit. My Scorpion box smelled so strong the night I brought it home that she kept her distance. I had the foams out to trim them last night, I caught her heading for the door with one I hadn't yet got my hands on. Would've been a matter of seconds before she'd ripped chunks out of them.

Man, I've not checked on here since I've recieved my 2 Scorpions to see if anyone else has mentioned the tire smell too, but MAN! Them tires stink like nothin' I've ever smeld! 2 kits have stunk my whole house up! Love the trucks so far though. Haven't driven them much. Gonna put electronics in my sons here in a little while. He finished building it last night.

i keep hearing that the tires smell. what do they smell like? new rubber, chemical, the inside of a fake leg?

Haven't gotten close enough yet, but my boss was complaining about the smell when she opened the box for a seek peak thurseday!

It seems its more the foam that smells than anything. Smells kinda like gasoline to me. And its nasty.

I don't have a cat, but my dog is going to freak out on the box and have it all over the house If I forget it on the floor:-)
