Default Non-vendors can't do give aways?

Why did my give away thread get deleted?
If people didn't want to ignore M715FL, they don't have to enter.

Giveaways are only for the vendors.I guess that's the price we pay for our star.

Thats stupid that you have to be a vendor. I think RCC is a little nuts with all the paying crap. And who would want to pay $20 for a star for this?

I think it's worth it. Even if you hate rcc, you can still win free stuff in giveaways. Most of that stuff is worth more than $20 too.

Dude seriously all your little comments are starting to get irritating. It is the internet, you can log off anytime you'd like.

People who appreciate what this is. Thanks. It's those people that help out that allow you to be here, providing this website for you to use, for free.

Your a real piece of crap you know that. Honestly you should be banned for saying that. I personally would pay $100 a year for this site if I had too. I really feel I probably owe this site a lot more then $20 a year and they don't even require you to pay.

It takes money to host this site.

I just want to say again what a piece of shat you are for saying that.

Seeing that I have been here for awhile but never post hardly I bought one, just because of all the good info on this site and the stuff I learned from it.

It's either this or give $20 to "Save the Whales" but what did whales do for me lately

I think anyone should be able to initiate giveaways. What's the difference between someone just giving something away for free in the classifieds, and having a giveaway to get rid of it? Makes getting rid of the item that much more fun...and still leads people to want to support the site by donating in order to participate.

The non-vendor giveaways could go through a mod for approval just like posting up classified ads...just to make sure that all the required info is there and that the item being given away isn't someone's trash or just a joke item.

However, I do see the main reason for vendors to have giveaways. This gets people interested in said vendor, gets visits to their sites, and may lead to other purchases.

Here's the way I look at it. $20 is a drop in the bucket compared to what we all spend on crawler parts during the build-up process.

It's like paying a small fee toward the right and ability to "take out" from an electronic library, a huge encyclopedia about how to build every RC rock crawler and all information surrounding this endeavor.
