| Non-vendors can't do give aways?
Why did my give away thread get deleted? If people didn't want to ignore M715FL, they don't have to enter. |

Thats stupid that you have to be a vendor. I think RCC is a little nuts with all the paying crap. And who would want to pay $20 for a star for this?

I think it's worth it. Even if you hate rcc, you can still win free stuff in giveaways. Most of that stuff is worth more than $20 too.

I think anyone should be able to initiate giveaways. What's the difference between someone just giving something away for free in the classifieds, and having a giveaway to get rid of it? Makes getting rid of the item that much more fun...and still leads people to want to support the site by donating in order to participate. The non-vendor giveaways could go through a mod for approval just like posting up classified ads...just to make sure that all the required info is there and that the item being given away isn't someone's trash or just a joke item. However, I do see the main reason for vendors to have giveaways. This gets people interested in said vendor, gets visits to their sites, and may lead to other purchases. |

It's like paying a small fee toward the right and ability to "take out" from an electronic library, a huge encyclopedia about how to build every RC rock crawler and all information surrounding this endeavor. | |
