Default A weekend of Toyota wheeling

Our club held a toyota trail ride this weekend, and for our first official event it went very well. I had my '71 fj40 out there for the first time, I didn't take any pictures of it on the trails though. I am waiting for the trail team to upload their pictures, I know they got a few of me out there.

The FJC on Attitude alley, it can really flex

Looks like some great wheelin"! Toyotas are awesome and the FJC looks like it can hold it's own in stock form! The trails look like a lot of fun.

gotta love the toys! I bought an 04' TRD double cab about a year ago, and still haven't had the balls to wheel with it (hard to want to dent up my $24,000 truck!!!) That's partly why I got into RC Crawling - to scratch my wheeling itch! (it does surprizingly well at it, too!)

A few years back I had an '86 Turbo 4Runner all built for the trail. That thing was awesome!!! Until the engine blew at 300K miles! Couldn't afford to fix it, so I had to sell it

Is that the off road park by Gilbert? Or some other place on "Da range"? Looks like fun.

Thanks guys

That red Taco you see in some of my pics is a 2004 trd, we also had a red 2006 4 double cab. They both tackled some pretty hard trails and did well.

That is the Gilbert off road park, I love that place

Here's mine. It's not a trail pic but I don't have any on this computer. It's a 99 with no lift, Lock Rite up front, Warn Brushguard, and BFG MT's. See all those dents...Tellico, Moab, Holy Cross City Trail (Well, the first 100 yards of it!) and The Bitterroot Mountains in Montana. Love this Truck...It's a Toyota, enough said!

Mine has some Holy Cross love as well! Here it is in Moab... I think this was the end of Hell's Revenge...

Sounds like My Jeep CJ5 except I CAN'T afford to drive it yet! POS just stays broke. Oh well it's a 77 so it's an Antique! That's why I love my Yota...I can drive it all over the country, to the trail, down the trail, and then home again! The only thing I've ever had to do is change the power steering pump...I think the locker up front wears it out!
