|  help with a video camera?
Ok i have a canon video camera that has been sitting around for a few years now i have decided to get it out so i can video tape my rig...when i get it all done. but when i plug it in to test it, it dousn't seem to work it turns on and a blue screen comes up and says canon thats all, will not do any other functions any ideas on what could be wrong with it? maybe a knew battery for it? please let me know your suggestions.

Most cameras have a mode selection. So that when you connect it to a TV it is displayed. However, you can't record in that mode. Don't know if that helps you much. Did you try to find a manual online? |

Nope its not on the play/vcr mode... i will look for the booklet
