I had to drive one of our 06 CV when my impala was at the dealership, and i thought it had a little higher feel in the cabin, seems like it will turn on a dime really tight steering and less rotations from the steering wheel, and power--- seems like it has about 75 more HP.....but i dont like the tranny shift, feels like it just slips into gear....JMO....what do you other fellow brother Officer's "PIGGYS" feel ....LMAO

well it depends on what year his CV is..the older ones were terds "SLOW"..The "Police interceptor" consisted of a suspension upgrade, and a tuned PCM chip and as Cheep inside as you can get....rubber!!....but all i can say for the 07 CV's at least they gave us Carpet and some CD players....

I want cops like that in iowa..I drive a 2002 z71 ls on 24's with 2 kicker l7 15's in a 10cf box and there powered by a 2500.1 kicker amp I also have the ss kicker comps in my doors no rears I use a sx 400.2 amp to power my highs..it only hit 151.3 db last time I tested it on a turnlap... I have yet to get pulled or for my truck or bass yet..I always drive slow hell If Im going fast noone can see me I think it cool that not all cops let there power go to there head

I build all the sub box's for just about ever kid in my area. They know the deal I build the box they keep it down at night and don't cause me any trouble around town. It works pretty good.

Here is a link to the Michigan State Police Car test.

http://www.michigan.gov/documents/MSP_Eval_146823_7.pdf

The CV's come with geared with either the 3.55:1 or the 3.27:1. We have the 3.55:1 it doesn't take off like the shot but it is no slouch either. I police a very rural area with lots of twists and turns and no highways so there is not very many places to get up to high speeds. Nothing around here can get away from us.

I personal don't like the front wheel drive cars. In the winter it is nice to be able to steer with the rear tires when at speed. Also I find the CV handles and feels a lot more solid on the road. We have done simulated police cases and I have seen the Chev's back wheel 12" off the ground on some high speed turns. Not good when you want maximum sticking power to the road.

Personally I think the Chargers are great looking cruisers, how they compare performance wise I have no idea.

I too am a sportbike guy, 05 Hayabusa, if I pass a cop going to opposite direction and didn't have time to slow down I will just keep speed until I see he has decided to turn around and flip his lights on. At that point I always pull over and take my helmet and gloves off. I can pay a ticket and it is over, felonys are harder to get rid of .

to all you civil servants!

They've been popping up around Olympia as well.

So far I've seen a Drk blue, black, red and one white. They all have "hidden" lights and each had different aftermarket rims really hard to spot for sure.

We also have 1 camero (black), Corvet (blue), Chevy ext. cab (white), and some unmarked SUV (dodge, chevy, ford and a Hyndai?) They are all unmarked and always have some one pulled over.
