| Turkey hunting in the rain?
Well i am going turkey hunting tomorrow and theirs sapossed to be some rain showers i was wondering if someone knew if it was uncommon to call turkeys in, when its raining

idk BUT i have herd that when it rains turkeys stick there heads up with there mouths open |

we hunt turkeys in the rain all of the time. we have'nt had any trouble with them working in to our calling. just be sure to use a mouth call. we use box and slate calls and you just need to keep them dry. |

| Where are you hunting first of all? And for the record your not gonna really do any good. It will be hard to hear them and also they get in big open fields when it rains so they can hear. I thought turkey season was in the springtime!!!

in missouri we have spring and fall seasons. we hunt when my clients want to hunt. rain,shine cold,or hot. |

I know i started this a while back but we have spring and fall seasons and i was hunting in the fields i just asked a simple qestions wondering if they would actually move in the rain and.. i did end up getting one that day, Also the day be4 i opend this thread we called maybe 14 in and not one of the make any sounds while we called them in they just showed up after a while
