Dents do make a truck a truck. So do gun racks. And pipes sticking out the hood. |

Looks good. But wouldn't it have been easier to back into a wall at 20mph and get the same results. Might not looked as good though.

Thats cool. If you want, bring your saw over...if it's still jumping around. Mine jumped around a bit after I put my 37's on but it missed the back of the bed, just kept hitting all the fenders. I guess the cage slowed it down. I got pleanty of blades though |

my old bed had this dent in it.... I also had some small dents on either side from rocks, but they were small smooth dents. But recently I found a bed with far less rust then mine, picked it up cheap. So a week after swapping beds I am cutting it up already I can't wait till tomorrow evening though, when I start work on the new rear bumper.... |

Thanks guys So I got a lot done this weekend, but I still have some sheet metal welding to do, and still need to bend up a couple more pieces for the rear bumper. Saturday I spent a few hours welding on the sheet metal, until my bumper brackets were ready to pick up. Later I welded in some 2x3 steel in the very back of the frame to stiffen it up, and give me a mounting point for the new rear bumper. The brackets were cut to fit around the 2x3 steel. It took a few beers to get the brackets mounted up, the bolt holes were not quite lined up and had to be chased with a drill bit again. This morning I started on the rear bumper finally. I bent the main bumper a little wider then I wanted... But it is what it is, I am still happy with the overall bumper. The lower tube you see, is a removable drop bumper. I wanted something that would keep me legal, look like it was ment to be there, and be easy to remove. |

Looks great man. I would do it to mine that I just got but its already short enough for me. I have a 96 yota regular cab with 7 inches of lift and 35s. I will start a thread 2-marrow. I have just been putting it off.

Nice! I thought it was RC at first glance...was going to ask where you got that thin blue masking tape. The scale builds are getting too good. When you take a double-take on an image of a 1:1... |
