that is pretty freaking SWEET! I remember them auctioning off a bunch of the props, and the All-Spark Cube went for like 40K... and the 70's Camaro Bumblebee went for like $50k.

Thats funny cause I just bought the DVD and was watching the extras last nite and I remember Michael Bay saying that after he builds Optimus that hes going to sell it on Ebay...MAN IF I HAD ALOT OF MONEY!!!...I think The Chrome Shop Mafia should do a replica of Optimus!!!..That would be SICK!!...I want to build a King Hauler Optimus too!!

It's just a copy, I'd want the actual one from the movie. Still a wicked looking rig for sure. |

I got an original (toy) with the box, even the red transparent strip to decode their stats. I have a whole bunch of Transformers actually. Little beat and battered from being a kid, but I got 'em!

Thats a great price too, a stock 07-08 pete is bluebooked at 100k+. My dad sold his for $30k but it had a sink shower toilet tv/dvd player microwave fridge and bunch of cabinents.

i still have my original optimus prime from back in the day too.. and voltron , atari , nes , sega , he-man , thunder cats, go bots , gi joe... my parents were awesome and saved it ALL for me... and a bunch of vintage hot wheels that are older than me...(i'm 28 ) Last edited by crawls2thewalls; 10-19-2007 at 08:14 PM. |
