I have no idea if I'll be done with mine in time but I'm gonna throw in for this one. It'll prolly be a month before I can even start but we'll see where the deadline ends up.

Rules updated! Enough with the leaf more scale thing. If you think somthing should be changed just lmk, not piss and moan about it. I think the rules are pretty much good how they stand now. The end date also stands but might change as we get closer to that date.

I started two 1.9 builds this week. Neither of them will be entered in this as I would have to lower my build standard to not embarrass everyone else.

OH I forgot something to maybe suggest.

How about anyone who plans to enter submit their name and a photo of their project to be entered by Oct 25. That way you don't have a buttload of entries at the end. I can just imagine that people who are working on stuff and haven't posted photos anywhere will have a slight advantage by the due date. Obviously because they've already started. So my suggestions is that if you want to enter, you must post a photo of your entry at it's starting point by Oct 25th to be eligible. Plus that will cut down on the flood of entries on Nov 25th.

One more thing... Maybe the rules and entry list should be posted in a sticky on in the 1.9 scale forum?

that would be a good idea to kind of regulate the "50%" builds going on now.............but what about the other guys (or gals) that haven't even started yet? i know of 2 guys down here that have just a box of parts and bodies in packages..............do they have to take a picture of that?

I think that would be fine. Maybe put a list of specs so we know what to expect. I just started one myself (only painted the body). So I would take a photo of the chassis it's going to be going on (CC01) with the wheels and parts. That way we know it's not more than 50% built already.

If you are going to be doing the build off you MUST! post a pic of your project start in the build off thread in the 1.9 section, If you dont post there you will not be counted when the dedline comes around. Also do NOT post bs in the other thread it WILL be reported.

If I use a CC-01 w/ a jeep body is that scale? Even though a Jeep doesn't have IFS?

I don't know what I'm going to do otherwise..........
