You must not be driving much.... I live 3 miles from work and still go through $200 a month in my V8 Quadcab Dakota.

From what I've heard about Alt. fuels, you get worse mileage with the E85 than regular unleaded, but I've heard good things about propane.

my PSD doesnt get that bad of gas mileage. i get about 17mpg in the city tops if i roll the throttle on it. and the best i ahve gotten was 25mpg on a freeway trip to san diego. and i was cruising at 70mph well thats what the speedo says but its off by a bit. now i drive my toyota pickup and even though that is modded out a bit my gas tank lasts about a week and its only 12 gallons! but i wish i wouldnt have lifted my f-350 i bet id be getting better gas mileage.

I spend about $75 per week for each of my 2 trucks. The wife drives the 460 gas hog because she drives less, the rest of the time we drive Big Blue cuz it gets 14mpg.

Put a lift and 33's on that thing DJ. Then put in a supercharged V6.

Yeah, $150.00 a month would be nice.

I spend $300.00 a month on fuel for the Crew Cab 4x4 w/ the 5.3 and it gets "decent" mileage at 18 MPH.

I'm afraid to look at my bill....seriously. I drive 60miles round trip to school.... which is why I go 3 days instead of 5. I only drive a 4.3l Blazer, but Houston traffic SUCKS.

I've taken up Bicycle commuting to work everyday so I can to save where I can.

Best mileage I ever got was in my V8 S-10. Gotta love 2.73 gears In a light truck it'll still move, but it's just creeping on the highway.

LOL on this fuel bill.

I was putting out about 100 a week when driving my pickup and got sick of it. I found a 91 Geo Metro to use for work and basic running around. As of now a 4 week fuel bill is costing me just around 25.00. Yeap that is correct. Twenty Five Dollars. It was just over 4 weeks since I last filled it up and that cost me 24 and change. I filled it up this morning and the tab came to 22.87 and the fuel was at the top of the filler neck.

My buddies think I look like a goof driving it around etc and they call me mental. Well since they are putting in 100.00 a week in their pickups etc to do the same amount of driving I do, I think they are the ones that are a bit on the retarded side of things.
