Jason LOVES the Liberty

I know how much you love the Liberty, Jason and I'm waiting for the gay-Liberty pic, but I figured I should show off the updates on mine. :)

BFG A/Ts and a Frankenlift 2.5"

I think I'm going to go take it out this up coming weekend. I played in some sand this past weekend down at Elephant Butte in southern NM.

Short term plans for a trans skid plate and rock rails. Eventually I might consider an ARB locker in the rear. I don't know if I really want to mess with that though. I might just pick up a beater with a locker when that time comes.

You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

STEEL_CITY_CRAWLER 10-22-2007 10:34 AM

braceysdad 10-22-2007 10:43 AM

The Liberty is what it is.

I'd rather have it than an Escape, Sante Fe, or Sportage.:roll:

IMO the Liberty is a very capable vehicle compared to other mid-sized SUV's in its class. With a true on demand 4WD transfercase and a pretty good power plant, I could see myself having one as a DD/Weekend Toy vehicle next to the TJ.

I've seen what those LOST boys do to their rigs, some of them are wild, like the SFA swap.

Can't see doing that on this one, but it sure is fun to drive and it tows my trailer just fine. I have had a few other Liberty owners stop and ask me about it. I think there are now 2 or 3 here in Albuquerque, real small crowd.

trickedoutTLT06 10-22-2007 04:42 PM

come on guys..it's not that bad..

:lol::lol::lol::lol:!!!
