I bought it about a month ago off ebay from rcboyz. I put it in a old pede I had with cvds and other upgrades. I did the tranny rebuild with all steel gears which cost was like 11.00 and that was it. I LOVE IT, great power top end and all around fun cant beat it for the price. I'm running 25t pinion and 86 spur on 7 cells and it's fast enough for me with alot more to go with lipo if you feel the need, I realllly don't think it's what you would want in a tlt tho..

I already have Axial for my rock crawler that I will do more work so after I got TLT for good price and see it after build I wanted more on speed side then crawling..

I think I will try faster motor and see how much the gear will hold...

Can you link me to the parts for the steel gears upgrade, i have an xl-5 which i just put a 3400kv motor and 50a esc and it flies on 7.2v but i just killed my stock diff, sorry for the threadjack
