I had that problem too. I bit the bullet because of that and bought two at my LHS - "they" were a birthday present for my son, one for him, one for me, because he always wanted to drive my trucks - now we can drive together. He actually does very well with it - for a 5 year old. And he has fun. And I get to spend time with him having fun.

im going to put mine up for sale but mine has a mamba in it and a almost new everything as well. i was thinking of asking 220 obo. but it doesnt have a batt and the body is beat up but it comes with some spares.

Depending on what you want to do with it, the RS "Pro-Pulse" may be a cheaper alternative for you.

I have one, its pretty new, mip super diffs, dp draglink, factory team shocks front and rear, factory team turnbuckles, And 3racing white wing. late model body, stock body( blue(, 1500mah 3 cell apogee lipo brand new, only 1 run on it. Also mamba 5400 and mamba 25 esc. The motor is a little screwy, the esc works good though. I want 175 OBO. Pm me or e-mail me for pics. Highya42@hotmail.com |

Do you guys have issues with them eating up spur gears? My mesh is set properly, and if I run it with the stock battery it holds up. Running it off of a 11.1v LiPo just shreds the gear in less than one pack's time. How are you mamba/brushless guys getting by with your spur gears? |
