I have a hood scoop on my hood that my brother started molding in about 2-3 years ago and ended up gettin a cowl hood..Now i am goin to try to save this hood it has bondo over top the hood scoop(its fiber glass under neath) and i need to remove the bondo what is the best way of doin this with out killing my self sanding by hand? |
Electric sander? |
Air sander or electric sander with some 60 grit |
Not sure how thick the bondo is but I'd start with one of these inline sanders http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/pho...1799/91773.gif and finish wiht one of these orbital (DA) sanders http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/pho...0299/90288.gif |
well i fount a easy way.. hand held torch and a puddy knife.. On to bondoing it back in. ill get some pics later.also were could i get sheet fiber glass?? |

just be careful to not get the hood too hot or it will warp |
