a littl help with bondo..
 
On my s-10..
I have a hood scoop on my hood that my brother started molding in about 2-3 years ago and ended up gettin a cowl hood..Now i am goin to try to save this hood it has bondo over top the hood scoop(its fiber glass under neath) and i need to remove the bondo what is the best way of doin this with out killing my self sanding by hand?

Electric sander?

Air sander or electric sander with some 60 grit

Not sure how thick the bondo is but I'd start with one of these inline sanders

and finish wiht one of these orbital (DA) sanders

well i fount a easy way..
hand held torch and a puddy knife..
On to bondoing it back in.
ill get some pics later.also were could i get sheet fiber glass??

walmart? lowes? body shop,parts stores. like advanced auto or auto zone. etc.

funny have you ever worked in a glass shop? thats the exact way you remove putty from old single glazed windows"thumbsup"
just be careful to not get the hood too hot or it will warp

off the topic of the actual thread, but what year model s10 do you have? i have a 91 that i'm in the process of lowering right now. have any pics of yours? i have a pic of mine before i started lowering it in my profile on here

haha nope..never worked at a glass shop.
yea i know not to get the hood to hot..

And my s-10 is an 86 pics is in another fourm i started
