I havnt had a problem out of my ps3 and neither has either of my brothers with theirs. The only thing wrong is while I am waiting on new games to come out, 360 owners are getting tons of awesome games.:-( PS3 owner, recommending the 360 |

it doesnt really matter which console u buy anymore. they both have the same great 3rd party titles. read this editorial... it should help shine some light on the subject http://juliangnam.wordpress.com/2007...***ing-matter/ |

Can't say one way or the other, don't have one and I'm more of a PC gamer. If you end up with the PS3, when you're not gaming on it, run a Folding@Home client on it and do some good for protein research . Helps for stuff like Alzheimer's, Huntington's, Parkinson's, and cancer. http://folding.stanford.edu/ |

I'd personally say go with the 360, but watch out. My wife's little bro has one and he got the "Red light of death" after about three months of owning it. Sent it back to Microsoft and it's being fixed for free but it takes three weeks. (never should have went out in the first place, my first PS2 lasted for 10,000+ hours of gameplay before it quit.) I've played both, and they're both equally good, so I'd say pay half as much for the 360. BTW, "Gears of War" is one of the greatest games EVER!!!! And on my 46" Hi-def TV it's INSANE!!!! XBOX360 - $279($458*) (No HDD & No High Def HD-DVD Player Built In) * = HD-DVD Player For XBOX360 - $179.99 And no matter what XBOX360 you buy, if you want High Def movies you need to spend the extra $179 for the external player. Or buy a stand alone HD-DVD player.

Just wait till the begining of Nov and you can get the $399 40GB version. You can always upgrade the HDD yourself and not void the warranty if you need more storage.

Personally I love my PS3, loved my ps1 ans 2 aswell. But the lack of games right now hurts. Shouldnt be much longer though. The 360 is a great system but they tend to have alot of problems. Ive had two break within the last year and my friend has had about the same luck with his. Either is a good choice though, for a 360 id wait for the new black box one with the HD-DVD built in. Wii's are just gay. fun for little kids but I still find a PS1 more fun.
