Default Went riding again today

30 miles in the past two days after not riding in 10 years.

My hands are so cramped I can't straighten my fingers.

That video looks surprisingly steady for being mounted on a bike. That front shock must be like 'butta

The video looks like crap from being uploaded to YouTube...the original, even compressed, looks much better.

Harley, the front fork (Cannondale Left) is smooth. I can adjust rebound while riding...or can lock it out completely.

Of course the needle bearings inside the shock help too.

The jump went smooth, I was just getting tired and lost momentum.

You know what's funny?

I stayed in 2nd on the front chainring all day...kept thinking to myself that I should've bought the single speed.

I still can't straighten the fingers on my left hand.

Come down, dude.

Bartram Trail is just a few miles from the house...about halfway between my house and Pointes West.

Went to FATS for an early morning ride with the owner of the bike shop and one of the guys that works there...you'd have loved it. Map

There are 4 trails there (two more going in); Deep Step, Skinny, Great Wall and Brown Wave.

We started at the parking lot, took Great Wall to Skinny, wient clockwise until we got to Brown Wave. Wife and the owner of the bike shop stayed on Skinny and the other dude and myself hit Brown Wave.

Freakin' Blast!

Here's a video of a cool section on Brown Wave: http://youtube.com/watch?v=LoWyd_tUnBE

Nice flowing singletrack!

I love when you get into that groove and the bike just floats over the trail like it's on rails.

Is that you on the blue Kona?

Nice vid! Now it makes me want to get out on my bike again. I havent been out in a while (no one to ride with). The one fellow I normally ride
with gets home earlier and day and goes out by himself. Then when I get home from work he doesnt want to go out again... lol.

There is a Conservation area that is a short bike ride to the "backdoor" from my place. We just hop a fence or up a hill to get into the grounds and go. We avoid the front most portions of the area, just incase someone stops to ask where our trail pass is.

Info:
http://www.trca.on.ca/Website/TRCA/P...s=1&spos=0&rsn=

Below is a PDF file of the trail map:
http://www.trca.on.ca/Website/TRCA/P...rail-map04.pdf

The north section from the beach centre is where I go riding normally. As for what way is the correct way... we just bike.

btw - 2002 Gary Fisher Sugar 3+ is what I have.
