Default 1 Differential, Opposite L/R Wheel Rotation

Hi. Is anyone able to think of a way to retrofit a Clod axle such that you can rotate the left and right wheels in opposite directions of each other (and a way to switch it back so they can rotate in the same direciton).

SO something that would allow you to have the left and right wheels turn in opposite directions so you would have zero-radius turning if you had a steering servo for each wheel.

THe closest thing I Can think of is a gearbox mounted at the knuckle (sort of like a portal) to handle all that, except then I can't think of a way to switch it.

THe next closest (and probably much easier) thing are portal-like knuckle gearboxes that would allow you to disengage the wheel (then you could disengage one wheel in the front and one in the back so they are free spinning and so that the remaining two wheels could spin in opposite directions to get zero radius turning (but then only on relatively flat ground in this case).

Plus, it'd probably cost a lot of $$$.

No shiny gearbox or shiny rims :(

Of course...

if RC4WD ever releases those vertical R2 trannies...then I could just get 4...with 4 motors...and 4 wheels...still not as shiny though. mmmm...shiny.

EDIT: Errr, vertical raptors I mean, not the R2.

4 gearboxes, 4 motors, 4 ESCs (possibly 2 EVXs or similar), and a good radio system. Either that or you could use a system on the axles like a dig setup. Have it disengage two of the four axles, you know? Be a lengthy setup and process, but like the other said, buy a tank.
