no it wouldn't matter, just place it the slot farthest away from anything. And with that larger heatsink you should be fine as crappy the airflow in Dell cases.

Crappy airflow is right.When I opened up the case I don't think I was getting any airflow with all the cat and dog hair that was in there!

While you have the case open you ought to go ahead and vacuum/blow it out, give it a good cleaning. Maybe even take your fans off and give em a shot of WD.

Vacuumed it out .Man there was a ton of junk in there.I'll see what I can do with the fans.
