Cool Trying to spread the Crawling word.... CRAWLING VIDEO 4.5 HRS Long

Over the past 2 weeks ive been playing with my computer and made a HUGE collection video of all the crawling movies i had (4.5 hours in length) and burned it to VHS. I dropped a copy of it off at my local Hobby shop (Bob's Hobbies in Littleton Colorado) to help get others interested. The video was grabbing almost everyones attention. So here is a BIG thanks to those out there trying to get this thing growing. For over an hour, the owner, myself and another guy trying to buy parts for his TLT sat and watched this thing for some time.. when i left, they were still watching it... Hopefully it brings more to the sport and helps to have the local hobby shops carry more stuff for us. If you have a hobby shop and want a copy, or if you want a copy, drop me a line by either PM or email at mmalmstein@avaya.com The video was made for the sheer purpose of bringing others to the rock crawling sport. no money is being made off of it.

Have fun Wheeling

I didnt make the vid to make money, if you would just pay for the tape and shipping, that would work. So, forget the whole PM, just shoot me an email or something.

I go in there alot. They usually have lots of product, except for lately. I wonder how that store is doing? I have a feeling.....and this is only me speculating.....that Bobs will not be in business for much longer.
I have shown my crawlers to them several times and they love looking at them, etc, but they pretty much forget about crawling after you walk out the door. Plus.....Jeff is the only serious rc guy left at that store.

YEAH, i was wondering who gave them that video!!! i go in there a lot and order all sorts of crazy stuff for my Tamiya stuff. i showed Jeff there my clod and he thought it was one of the coolest things ever. he should see this site!

you should take one to Rocky Mountain RC Hobbies, they expressed an interest in making a giant rock crawling course outside next to the track.

Don't get too excited.
The RMRC guys are such Patsy's! They would never do something for us crawlers. They always talk big but never come through! I was running my crawler in between races once and they flipped out because I had the same channel as one of their racers. They said I needed to go pay for the channel in the "pro shop". I asked if they owned that air space.

I agree, these guys aren't promoting anything accept racing on their track so they can charge you. I've only dealt with them once and they were a bunch of asses.

Let's go crawl there next race day Double Dee!! I'll bring every radio I have and turn everyone of them on, and leave them on, for the afternoon.

I do really like Bob's Hobbies, Jeff's a good guy.

That would be hilarious! What could they do? Nothing!!! We really should pan that one out! Would love for us Crawler guys to be known as the ass hole part of rc.

I've been guessing that Bobs would be going out of business for some time now. but , there they are... hold string, but, right now they are giving 20% off of all R/c Accesories, bodies and all... maybe they are getting out of it? Who knows. Jeff is one of the nicest guys i have run into at a hobby shop in a long time. Im glad to hear that lots of people are liking the video.... i'kll start burnig some copys and bring em with in my truck... If you see me wheelin or my blue Z71, just ask me and you can have one... The video starts with about 10 min of SG drifter videos and then the rest is all Crawling. ~

I went crawling yesterday over at Rockymountin R/C and wheeled with VitaminJ who said they were looking at building a rc/crawler coarse.... yeah, i'll believe it when i see it... to me, half of the fun is finding stuff to climb. That water run off over there was pretty cool, some hard spots too.. i'll be posting picks in the Get together section under crawling in littleton for those of you that havent checke dit out yet.
