Question Toy from the late 80's-90's

I'm on ebay right now buying up crap from my childhood. I'm looking for this toy but can't remember the name,I'll describe it for you.

-Fighter Planes(F-15 Eagle and F-14 Tomcat) that had a joystick that made sounds as you went up or down.
-You could take the plane off and play with the controller
-Release date 89-90ish?

I wanna say the Name was like Fighter Dogs/Dog Fighters.....Any help would be nice.

I'm buying my childhood also.
After Evel Knievel died I started looking for a certain wind-up toy that I had when I was Younger. Couldn't remember the name of it til I saw it.
It was the Evel Knievel Energizer Off Road Dune Buggy. Saw it. Had to have it. The only one on e-bay.
I didn't win the bid, but was able to get ahold of the winner and pay him a nice sum of money for him to sell it to me. Only problem in the whole deal was when the wife found out how much I paid for it. I told her it was worth it though.

I had one of those and a friend of mine jabbed me in the back of the head with it. I guess he was chasing me and I stopped abruptly. End result I got four stiches in my scalp. lol

I don't remember the name but it had to of been 87~89
