Was looking through some older pics and found these. It's my dads '89 F-150 with 10" lift (6" suspension,4"body) Rebuilt 5.0 liter motor in it. He bought it on Ebay for $3000 and had it shipped up here to MI from FL. He ended up putting well over $10k into it and sold it not too long ago. Sold it because it wasnt very praticle when we were getting 5mpg. And considering the semi was getting 6. |

Stacking blocks, must be a ford thing, haha. Who am I kidding, it's an all truck mfg thing. How's the 4" body lift work legally in your state. It's 3" max here, and in most states I thought.

All i know is that the blocks the body sat on were 4" tall. If i recall correctly the only law around here reguarding lifted trucks is that the measurement from the ground to the bottom of the bumper has to be less than X amount of inches. (so cars dont go under the truck if they rear ended you) It was a beast i tell ya. Sounded awesome too. Headers no cats and flow master exhausts. Man i wish we didnt sell that thing. | |
