I told the wife as we were driving home, If it were our kid (which we don't have any yet) I'd be the one going to jail not him!!! He'd be off to the morgue. The mother is a single mom, with a decent boyfriend, and the father is being extremely supportive despite all their previous history  We'll know some time tonight or Sunday if he'll be in the clear physically, but the Doc and resident therapist, say that he will most likely need a good bit of psychological help.. They say that its good that he is as young as he is, most likely he wont remember much of anything as an adult but he is having some pretty severe trust issues in the present that can seriously him emotionally as an adult even if he can't remember why. |

just got back again, he's doing much better, eating solid food and not puking the new CT scan shows that he's going to be ok with no major complications, although he's scheduled for an eye exam to check his retina. If he can sleep through the night and have breakfast without getting sick he'll be on his way home tomorrow |

That kind of behavior, in my mind should be an automatic execution. If you act like that, your life should be forfeit. I don't have kids, but if anyone treated my nieces like that they would not get the time to regret it. Glad to hear the kid is doing good.

Thats great to hear the little guys condition has improved, as far as the perp, I can only pray his condition worsens . . . . . and I'm sure it will . . believe it or not but karma always seems to have it way or to put it more simply . . every dog has it's day . . . .

Well Its Official he's coming home!!! as I type, he and his mother got a good night sleep last night, first time since Wednesday, with no major ill affects, She still needs to check him in the middle of the night for about a week to make sure he doesn't slip into a comma but otherwise he's a happy go lucky kid with a bit of a headache from the bruises |
