Default Rock Racing class??

I see all of these rock racers being built and brushless technollogy is getting bigger and bigger. I think Someone needs to make up a racing class were the competitors all go at the same and see who gets to the finish first, just like the 1:1's.What do you guys think?

Have you seen an XRRA event yet? They don't all run at the same time.

So John,

You think that the XRRA event could be duplacated in an RC rcok crawling environment?

It could be done in a couple of different ways.
Option 1...2 similar courses that would be run at the same time and first to end wins or

Option 2...1 course and you would be racing against a time clock. Low time wins.

Man that would be cool! Just two per run, seperate course, side by side, but I think it would really draw more spectators to crawling.

Would you have to add a water element? That might scare some folks off.

I think it would be cool to have an XRRA themed RC event, two different courses and the first one done wins

XRRA does not run 2 different courses first to finish wins.

Although they have 2 different courses running all day the first guy to the finishline of each race isn't necessarly the winner of that race.

Each rig runs 4 courses, total fastest time wins. They just have 2 courses running at all times with the start and finish lines next to each other so people feel more like it's a race.

if there were to be a rock racing class put together i would enter it. i think haveing 3 trucks run the same course at the same time would be alot of fun. but the multiple course would be fun aswell.

its ok they just havent been to an xrra race yet:-( everyone that is into crawling needs to go to one! and that sounds like a great idea doing it the xrra style, because what if one course is longer or harder?

one class. one rule. (time) x (tire outer demension) = final score. makes everything more universal. no one has a better advantage because of tire height.

I have seen a rock racing event on pirate 4x4 that they run all of the rigs at the same time. It might not be XRRA but it is similar. I think that would be really cool to have in rc scale but it would deffinitly be a wallet buster. Maybe we'll have a racing class by time 2008 nats come around
