I guess they're pretty nice for trails and groomed stuff, not ideal for powdery hillclimbs, they tend to bury themselves pretty good. Makes use of the bigger high HP 4strokes, some guys are using bored and stroked 450's approaching almost 600cc |

Yup, seen those. I guess they don't ride ANYTHING like a MX/Enduro bike and take some time to get used to for a bike rider. Still pretty cool. With a garage full of mx and trail bikes these conversion kits for what I already have make it almost a no-brainer. Now if I was closer to a dealer |

search around there is a couple places doing bike conversions. I've personally seen A couple sweet mx bikes setup to run awesome with them tracks on them.

I forget which one, or maybe both were set up and displaying their stuff last year @ Aspen/Snowmass...not sure if they were demoing or not 2Moto will be @ this years WinterX games and offering Demo rides. I ride sleds. I have an 03 Arctic cat sno pro, fox evols with a 700 motor in it...It books... I rode a snowhawk. Its like riding a 160 horsepower dirtbike. I only fell twice. It hurts good to, thats a 400 lbs chunk of rotax crap crushing your legs. it gets up though. Awsome in the powder too. |
