Default Colorado Competition Class

Hey guys if you have never been to an RCCrawling comp, or even if you have, but you want to learn more we'll be holding a special comp class this weekend.

We'll take time to go over all the rules, including the new 2008 rules that are going to be implemented at our next comp. We will also show those interested in Judging how to do that as well.

This will be a good day to hang out and have any questions you may have about competing answered.

Hell maybe we can get Stew and Rubbaneck, the 2 points leaders to give us all some driving tips!

Bring your crawlers, maybe we'll throw down some cones after the majority of the stuff is done.

We'll be doing this at Riverdale park in Thornton, just off Colorado blvd, on 108th. Here is a google map to the location.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?f=s&i...,0.003648&z=18

This will take place this Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 starting at 10am.

Please post up if you plan on attending.

Is there any way someone attending could make a vid of the important parts? Its kind of a long swim from Germany to attend.

I don't think I have a choice

If the weather is still nice when we are done I would love to shoot footage of the rules in action

This sounds like a great idea and opportunity for a newbie like me to learn a lot in a short time period, so i hope you would consider doing it again maybe later in spring. I live in grand junction and would like to come over and watch , learn but february, across the mountains ..for this i will have to pass. Look forward to the videos and hopefully a chance to come to another class or competition to watch.

I have family in the thornton area so will be coming there to visit , is this park a good place to crawl/practice?

Yes, it is an ok place to crawl & practice. It isn't huge, but there are some good lines to practice the skills on.
